A series of eight one-hour adult group ballroom dance lessons for beginners will be taught at the Aliceville Museum by Victoria DaCosta, professional dance instructor and owner of the Let’s Dance Studio in Tuscaloosa. Victoria will be teaching 4 different dances including the hustle, waltz, rumba, and triple-step swing. Her style makes learning easy and FUN! Each class will consist of instruction in two dances. Classes will be held from 6 to 7 PM in the Events Room at the museum in Aliceville which is located at 104 Broad Street. Sessions will be held on the following Tuesdays: June 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28 and August 4, 11, 18. Classes are open to adults ages 18 and up. There is no charge for the classes, but students must pre-register. To get more information, or to register for the classes, call the museum at 205-373-2363.
