BBCF Head Start students are among the 3.3 million children that receive nutritious meals and snacks through the
U.S. Department of Agriculture‘s
Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFB). The goal of BBCF Head Start’s participation in the CACFP is to see that all students are served well-balanced meals and taught good eating habits. The nutritious meals and snacks served daily to BBCF Head Start students positively impacts 307 children.
BBCF Head Start plans to re-certify its participation in the CACFP in October 2023.
