27 Jan Head Start Classrooms to Participate in NHSA Event
SELMA, AL (January 27, 2026) – BBCF Head Start teachers and students are registered to participate in a special virtual learning experience hosted by the National Head Start Association (NHSA) on February 11.
As part of NHSA’s Cabinet of Wonder series, teachers and young learners will take part in an enchanting journey to the Land of Make Believe led by singer, songwriter, and performer Natalie Merchant, known to children as “Miss Natalie,” along with her whimsical friend, Pinky Jackalope.
Cabinet of Wonder is a joyful reimagining of Mother Goose and her classic rhymes for a new generation of children ages 3–6. Through professionally produced music, inventive videos, and playful storytelling, the experience is designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and wonder in early learning classrooms.
This innovative program was developed in collaboration with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Children’s Theatre and is offered nationwide through NHSA to support engaging, developmentally appropriate early learning experiences.
