The Black Belt Community Foundation’s Throw & Go Contest is back! Created by BBCF Community Associates, Throw & Go raises funds to support BBCF’s Community Grants Program and communities across Alabama’s Black Belt.
This year, one lucky participant will have the chance to Throw & Go to the 2026 Magic City Classic!

How Throw & Go Works
Tickets are available for a $5 donation each.
Every ticket purchased gives you another chance to be selected for the Throw & Go challenge. One participant will be randomly drawn on Friday, October 16, 2026.
If your name is drawn, you’ll get five attempts to complete a 12-yard forward pass to a designated BBCF staff member. Complete at least one of your five attempts and you win the prize package!
Why 12 yards? Each yard represents one of the 12 counties BBCF serves across Alabama’s Black Belt.

The more you give, the more chances you have to win:
- $5 donation → 1 entry
- $20 donation → 5 entries
- $25 donation → 6 entries
- $50 donation → 15 entries
- $100 donation → 30 entries
- $250 donation → 75 entries
- $500 donation → 150 entries
Other donation amounts will receive entries based on BBCF’s established contest structure.
Important Dates
Tuesday, October 13 — Final day to purchase tickets in person
Thursday, October 15 at noon — Online ticket sales close
Friday, October 16 — Throw & Go participant drawing
Saturday, October 31 — 2026 Magic City Classic
The Throw & Go skills challenge will be scheduled with the selected participant prior to the Magic City Classic.
