SELMA, Ala. — The Black Belt Community Foundation (BBCF) has officially launched its 2026 Throw & Go Magic City Classic Contest, giving supporters a chance to win two tickets to the 2026 Magic City Classic and a two-night hotel stay while supporting communities across Alabama’s Black Belt.

Created by BBCF Community Associates, Throw & Go raises funds for BBCF’s Community Grants Program, which supports community-led projects and organizations throughout BBCF’s 12-county service area.

Entries are available with a suggested donation of $5 per ticket, with bonus entries available for donations of $20 or more.

One lucky participant will be randomly selected on Friday, October 16, 2026, to take the Throw & Go challenge. If selected, you’ll have five chances to complete a 12-yard pass to a BBCF staff member. Why 12 yards? One yard for each of the 12 counties BBCF serves.

Make the pass, and you’re headed to the Magic City Classic!

The winner will receive two tickets to the 2026 Magic City Classic, featuring Alabama A&M University vs. Alabama State University on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Legion Field in Birmingham, plus a two-night stay at The Tutwiler Hotel in Birmingham, October 30–31, 2026.

Online entries are available through noon on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
